In 2007, Robert and his family made a big change. Wanting to simplify his lifestyle, he moved his family from the Front Range to Cedaredge to provide a better environment for his two kids to be raised in. While his wife Anna teaches school in Cedaredge, Robert has embraced the ranching lifestyle northwest of Cedaredge on his 60-acre farm. He’s developing a line of Lowline, or smaller framed, Angus cattle, as well as a line of Labrador retrievers for ardent hunters. Robert’s working knowledge of irrigation methods, water rights, hay farming, swathing and baling hay, cattle ranching, raising horses, and fence building makes him a credible resource to his farm and ranch clients.
